Sweet Escape: Bukit Tinggi, Pahang.

-28 February 2017-

Me and my friend drove from Batang Kali to Bukit Tinggi, Bentong. The journey took us about 1 hour. To go to Bukit Tinggi, you should take Lebuhraya Pantai Timur (LPT) and exit Bukit Tinggi. From exit, it took us about 30 mins to arrive Bukit Tinggi gate where you should pay for the entrance fees of RM15/person (Adult) and RM8/person (Kids). Since this is a day trip, we just manage going to Botanical Garden, Colmar Tropicale Village/French Village and Japanese Green Tea House. Another interesting place to go is its Adventure Park (I'll come again to try the longest flying fox in SE Asia).

ADVENTURE PARK
*entrance fees does not include games in adventure park*
1. Flying fox- RM 82/person
2. Canopy walk- RM 50/person
3. ATV mountain ride
4. Paintball

BOTANICAL GARDEN
Just a garden of flora. You can find variety types of flower here, take a good picture and at the end of the route, you would see a bridge. We didn't comes to the end because it was too tiring to climb back up.

Japanese Green Tea House

Here, you can try to wear Kimono (RM20/person) and give your best pose in Kimono.

We had our lunch at a nearby restaurant named Le Poulet Roti. The restaurant concept is similar to Kenny Roger's Roaster. The taste is not bad, the price quite expensive and the staffs are so-so. They annoyed me because the keep on coming asking to pay for the bills when we haven't finished our food yet (in the middle of eating).

While waiting for the waiter to entertain us

Our Foods: Yummeh!
By 5.00 pm, we end our journey. So, bye-bye Bukit Tinggi. I'll come again for flying fox and extreme park.

Hiking : Gunung Rajah (1685m/5526ft) via Kuala Kubu Bharu

-8 January 2017-

1.00 am

With sleepy eyes, I drove to Kg Pertak, Kuala Kubu Bharu from KL after picking up my friends from TBS and Ampang. I had pack sardine sandwiches and 'Sambal bilis kering+nasi putih' for our meal at peak of Rajah. At Kg Pertak, we meet up with another 5 group members, making a total of 8 line up (4 man and 4 woman).

4.30 am (Ascending-BMW)

We start ascending. Entrance should be at a bridge. After the bridge, the trek diverge into two: left to G. Rajah; right to Bukit Kutu. The trek was not so difficult until we reached camp BMW. There is waterpoint at BMW and most hikers spend the night there before start climbing the next day. Had a chit chat with one of the hiker that spends the night there, he told us the trek after BMW is not something you can be play with. The trek start to be difficult soon as we left BMW.

6.45(Arrived camp Botol)

We had our Subuh Prayer here and continue our journey around 7.00 am.

8.00 am (Arrived camp Renoma)

I started to get exhausted but I guess my will (at this time only) was too strong that I can still let my feet to do all the works. Plus, my friend's "advice" (He told me that he'll let me eat and rest at RnR camp that was not farther apart from where we stand). Ugh! Shouldnt believe in him. My walk start to get very slow (Poor my feet T.T)

9.00 am (Arrived camp RnR)

Guess who is the happiest person once we reached camp RnR? (Me, of course). On our way from Renoma, I almost give up but was pushed by my friend. Nak tercabut lutut dah ni! (tsk.tsk). WE had breakfast and had some milo. RnR is the last checkpoint/camp before you reached the summit.

1.30 pm (I'm on top of the world)

Me crying!! At last, I made it to the top. Hooray, Me! I almost give up. I sleep in the middle of trek. I don't get enough sleep last night, so i almost deprived of energy. Mental breakdown, pewai semua ado. Thanks to everyone, I made it!

Happy me!

Tired me!

3.00 pm: Descend
6.00 pm: Arrived RnR
6.30 pm: Arrived Renoma
7.30 pm: Arrived Botol
8.00 pm: Continue to BMW
1.30 am: Finally, we get out of the woods! (Alhamdulillah)

Note: wonder why we took so much time to get out? Read below 👇

Worth experience:
1. 'Something' play games with us on our way to descend. We got lost after BMW. After the intersection between Lata Medang and Lata Makau, we went on the right track. Unfortunately, after the small gate, we lost. There were bushes. We were exhausted. We keep on the same track again and again. Then, our leader ask one of us to "Azan" . we rest for 20 minutes and start again. Thank God, there were no more bushes and we were on the right track all along.
2. What happen during the journey: One of us saw fireballs, I heard something calling for my friend, one saw an old woman hand just below my friend's bag showing wrong path.

Lesson: Things like this happen because we are not the only creature in the world. Pray and pray and pray, He (The Almighty) will guide and help us.

Sehari di Negeri Sembilan

-13 June 2015-

Memandangkan harini saya agak pening, jadi sy tulis entri blog pada kali ni dalam Bahasa Malaysia (lagipun, Bahasa jiwa bangsa!) Trip ke N.9 ni dah lama sebenarnye tapi baru sekarang rajin nak menulis. Trip kalini sebenarnya lawatan sambal belajar (zaman student foodtech dolu2). Mana kami pergi?

Comel tau kambing-kambing kat sini

Trip kalini berakhir dengan aktiviti mandi-manda di air terjun Jeram Toi. Memandangkan sibuk sangat main air terjun kat sini, jadi cuma ada gambar kenang-kenangan kat pintu gerbang je.

Penang Day Trip

-15 May 2016-

It was a perfect, sunny day for a perfect sweet escape from a heartbreak (cliché, huh!). I book a flight ticket at MYR 79 (Air Asia) a week before. The flight depart at 730 am and I arrived penang at about 10 am. From Bayan Lepas Airport, I took a rapid Penang bus to Komtar. Sorry I don't remember the fees but you can easily wait for the bus at bus stop just in front of the airport. The bus was right there waited for passenger. The journey by bus took about 30 mins. My twin waited for me there.

My on-flight breakfast: Roti Boom with Chicken Curry and my bae, RAM novel, Sunan Cinta Nan Sakti

As I arrived Komtar, my twin and I took a free shuttle bus to Penang Street Art. We rented bicycle for MYR 10/day. You can easily found bicycle for rent by the sidewalk. Cycling around Penang (searching for street art was tiring and fun!) I was exhausted but I really enjoy myself sweating, cycling and taking picture all around. Searching for the wall street art was quite an adventure especially for us who don't really familiar with the place. The pictures show some of the wall street art that we manage to find.

A perfect dream catcher henna (MYR 10) + vintage ring (MYR 10) + coconut ice-cream (MYR 5)

It is a sweet escape, isn't it? So, a sweet escape picture is a must!

On my way back to Shah Alam, I took a bus at Butterworth. From Penang island, I took a ferry to Bus Station in Butterworth, Seberang Prai. (Note: The ferry ride is FOC if you are going out of Penang Island. If you are going into Penang island from Seberang Prai, you have to pay MYR5). The journey took about 15 minute. So, I bought a bus ticket at 730 pm for MYR 40. I arrive Shah Alam at about 12 am.

Backpack in Semporna, Sabah: Part 3

Day 3: Semporna- Mataking+Pompom

**Mataking Island**

The beauty of Mataking Island makes people to call it as 'Malaysia's Maldives'. Snorkelling in Mataking let you to have a close up view of turtles. Well, that is if you are lucky enough and got a skilled tour guide. Of course, to enjoy the view of sea turtles, it depends on the weather too. You won't be able to see the turtles in bad weather. Unfortunately, I didnt manage to see the turtles although the weather is good that day. The turtles are afraid of me, I guess (T_T)

The hotel guest often have their dinner in Astana Cafe. However, that night we had our night walk all the way to some area where food hawker gather up and run their business. We ordered Nasi Gondrong and Nasi Goreng Lalap.
